Innovation Lab Site Development

Terri has played a central role in the development of several innovation sites at companies such as Oracle, Bosch, and DePaul University’s Coleman Entrepreneurship Center.

The Oracle Industry Lab is a global portfolio of innovation sites that serve as technology test beds to incubate industry solutions with customers and technology partners. Terri advised Oracle’s VP of Innovation, Burcin Kaplanoglu, and his team from the whiteboard days of the project through the development of three innovation spaces in Chicago (USA), Sydney (Australia), and Reading (UK).

The Bosch Connectory is a global network of innovation spaces that creates an ecosystem of Internet of Things (IoT) specialists and Bosch products and services. Terri advised Bosch’s Global IoT Innovation Lead, Dennis Boecker, from the project’s earliest conceptual stages through the development of the original Chicago site in Chicago’s historic Merchandise Mart.

The Coleman Entrepreneurship Center at DePaul University is the hub for student entrepreneurial activity. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, the Center’s new entrepreneurial space opened in 2016.

The project began in 2014, when Terri was the Executive Director of the Center and a business professor at the university.
