Bosch Connectory
The Bosch Connectory is a global network of innovation spaces that creates an ecosystem of Internet of Things (IoT) specialists and Bosch products and services. Terri advised Bosch’s Global IoT Innovation Lead, Dennis Boecker, from the project’s earliest conceptual stages through the development of the original Chicago site in Chicago’s historic Merchandise Mart.
Terri worked with Dennis to develop the Connectory name, combining “connection” and “factory,” two central elements of Bosch’s corporate vision. From the beginning, it was designed to be a space where connections happen — among devices, people, and ecosystems.
That 20,000-square-foot Chicago space was a co-creation space and IoT incubator, boasting cutting-edge technology and networking opportunities with IoT experts. More than a co-working space, the Chicago Connectory offered partners a co-creation model that fostered collaboration, networking, problem-solving, and a new way of working in an age of connectivity.
The Bosch Connectory has innovation spaces in Brazil, China, Mexico, and Germany. It also serves as a global innovation network, bringing people, cultures, and businesses together to create the future of connectivity.
