Innovation Site
Oracle Industry Lab
The Oracle Industry Lab is a network of global innovation sites that serve as technology test beds to incubate industry solutions with customers and technology partners.
Terri advised Oracle’s VP of Innovation, Burcin Kaplanoglu, and his team from the whiteboard days of the project through the development of three innovation spaces in Chicago (USA), Sydney (Australia), and Reading (UK).
The Chicago Lab is a 30,000-square-foot space focusing on manufacturing, construction and engineering, energy and water, communications, and public safety.
The Sydney site focuses on construction and engineering. At the Reading site, we transformed a former railcar into a transportation capsule to test innovations in mobility, accessibility, and sustainability. Each is a custom-built innovation space designed to replicate authentic work environments.
The project brought together multiple lines of Oracle business and created an ecosystem of more than 80 Oracle partners and industry startups. By late 2023, the Lab had hosted more than 13,000 visitors from around the world.
From its beginning, the Oracle Industry Lab was designed as a customer-centric tech test bed.
Working with Oracle leaders, industry experts, and customers, we developed more than 80 hands-on experiences that immerse visitors in real-world industry challenges and drive the co-creation of solutions ready for immediate deployment.
